Alexandra Raisman
Aly Raisman is an American gymnast, who was an athlete and captain of the 2012 Fierce Five and the 2016 Final Five US Women's Olympic gymnastics teams. In the 2012 Olympics she won gold on both the team floor as well as the individual events. The bronze medal was awarded through her balance bar. This made her one of the very first American gymnast in the Olympics to earn the most medals. The gold medal she won in the Olympics in 2016 was her second consecutive gold for the US team. This made her, along with teammate Gabby - the first Americans to accomplish this accomplishment. In addition, she was awarded silver medals in the individual all-around event as well as for floor exercise. After the 2002 Olympics, she stopped for three years gymnastics. In addition she was part of two gold-winning American team in gymnastics. The gymnastics classes began at age 2 and loves the floor workout. Aly is a part of The Uniting Against Lung Cancer Organization in honor and memory of her grandmother. She plans to pursue a career as a designer. She hopes to pursue the expansion of her signature collection of leotards. Fierce is a novel she plans to release later in the year.
